Okay, if it was the other way around, and they were burning Bibles, he would blow a fuse.  For you all that don’t know, burned Qurans were found on a US air field base. A couple of hours later, an Afghan soldier killed two US troops and hurt others because of the Quran burning. Others have now been killed.  Obama apologized to Afghanistan because of the burned books because he was concerned about the safety of our troops — and rightfully so. Burning the book was a pretty stupid move considering our current military circumstances. Obviously killing someone because of a burned book is absolutely ridiculous. Burning a book never justifies killing. But this is not surprising — this is Afghanistan. Their entire law system and country is based around the Quran and Islam. They just passed a law a couple of years ago that allowed women to be denied food from their husbands if they refused sexual favors. Justice means nothing to them. We shouldn’t be in Afghanistan in the first place, and it’s absolutely disgusting that people are actually being killed because of burned books, but Obama was trying to help put out the fire when he apologized.
