To be honest with you, I’m of the school that there was no historical Jesus, but I would LOVE to see more of this, or at least more Christians speaking out against what conservatives in the US seem to think Christianity is. It’s so ridiculous how conservative Christians like Santorum call liberal christians “cafeteria Christians” or “cafeteria Catholics” because he says they pick and choose what they want to support — but so do all conservative Christians. Unless they’re all willing to ban divorce that Jesus was extremely against or stone people when they work on Sundays, they’re picking and choosing, too.  So liberal Christians — please speak out about your beliefs in accordance with your faith.
